UPDATE 13th MAY
With regard to the next SYCAA T&F Meeting to be held at the Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster, on the 19th May, all team managers should send a list of all new athletes to whom numbers have been issued to Janette Tomlins by Thursday lunchtime - 17th May. The details required are:- Name, Age Group, Date of Birth (under 11's only). Field event entries also need to be sent to Janette by Thursday evening - 17th May.

XC End of Season Report
OK. It's not the end of the season, but there is a bit of a lull now until the National as far as club runners are concerned. The attached report covers the South Yorkshire League, Yorkshire and Northern Championships. By any standards, a vintage year for South Yorkshire cross country.

Attached to this news item you will find a map of the courses (ignore the fact that the map appears to be for lasy year - the courses are the same), timings for the races and details about the venue and how to get there.
Please remember that the first race is Senior/Vet/U17 Men at 11am followed by Senior/Vet/U17 Ladies & V65 Men. This is to give time to complete results and make presentations on the day.
Presentations for the League and the Championships will take place as soon after the final race as we can manage. If you think you are likely to get an award, please try and stay for the presntation. If you can't, then ask someone to pick up the award for you. Secretaries - the results team need any new entries before a race is run.
An apology: individual cumulative League scores have not gone on the site yet because the results programme has been playing up. Hopefully this will be rectified tonight....
..and finally, a request: if you are a senior warming up for your race, please have the good manners NOT to warm up on the course while another race is in progress. At the very least it is annoying; for more junior runners it can be very threatening.
